Ohhhhhhh my goodness. Wonder Woman was the fucking shit. So much so I started the clapping when the movie ended. My homeboy was embarrassed. But I don’t see why. What’s wrong with clapping after a movie? Anyone else agree? … Continue reading
Holy shit everyone. Logan was amazing. Whoever says otherwise seriously has no taste in movies. This film was fire. I’m just so glad I finally got to see it. Ever since opening weekend, everyone had been raving about it. I hate being late lmao but better late than never.
I didn’t know who hadn’t seen it yet, so I literally tweeted to see if anyone wanted to go tn. My hg responded and I was ecstatic lmao. Thank you social media. I also hit up my other girl who had been wanting to go and she was d too. I love my down ass movie PICs. We hit the Arclight in Culver City bc it was the only one with a movie time that worked. It went from like 7 or 8 to 11. I hate that shit lmao. We hit the 8:10pm, and ended up stuck in the very front row lmao.
I never care about being the front, but I feel bad for people who do. We sat down and it literally felt like we were in the movie lmao. I ain’t mad. The first scene in itself was so crazy. My girl told me this is the last time Hugh Jackson is playing Wolverine. Sad times. Seriously, no one can top him in this role. Like, he is Wolverine lmao. Salute to him for being so phenomenal. His acting is perfect.
IMDB plot: In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X somewhere on the Mexican border. However, Logan’s attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are upended when a young mutant arrives, pursued by dark forces.
If you fuck with Marvel, this is heaven for you lmao. Logan is Wolverine from X-Men. And the professor in the wheelchair! Gotta love him. The film is 2 hours and 15 minutes, but it’s jam-packed. I loved the action. It was definitely violent and gory, but it was also realistic. That’s rare.
I feel bad, my brother hella wanted to see this. Someone go with him lmao.
Today was my first day without a list of events, so I took full advantage. Me and my girl hiked to the wisdom tree, and loved it. I highly recommend this if you in LA. It’s right there by Griffith and the Hollywood Sign hike. The best part is when you actually get to the top and read all the notes that people leave. They’re all so damn inspirational.
Okay. Be good to others and yourself. Muah <3.
TRACK OF THE DAY: This remix though.
Wow. Just wow. I’m actually kinda speechless. This was the most epic movie experience I’ve ever had. And I’m not just saying that. 4D was life changing.
First of all, hi guys. I haven’t written here in so long because I’ve had 0 time for movies. I was looking forward to this so much. All I knew was that Doctor Strange was the new Marvel movie coming out and the hype was real. Marvel anything I think is a win. Especially this one.
Now let’s talk about this 4D though. It’s exactly what it sounds like… 3D on crack. Lmao. Seriously though. I think only a few select theaters have it. It’s bound to blow though. The moment we sat down we felt like we were in a theme park. Like Honey I Shrunk The Kids at Disneyland… THE ENTIRE MOVIE.
Oh shit: “Regal L.A. LIVE is now home to the first 4DX theater in the United States! Experience the biggest blockbusters like never before with 4DX technology! The 4DX auditorium features motion seats and special effects including wind, fog, mist/rain, scents and more that perfectly synch to the on-screen action.”
We came during the worst time though. Our movie was at 10:30pm aka right when the basketball game got out at Staples. I don’t want to talk about that game. (Warriors ate shit to The Lakers). It was bad. And we were stuck in the standstill traffic.
But we made it. I love this movie theater, but it takes a lot more effort, aka effort parking. I gptta get used to this being my go-to theater. OH YEAH SHIT I just moved downtown haha holy fuck. I’m not fully settled yet so I can’t celebrate yet, but it’s fucking surreal. Downtown LA man.
Rolled with my hg and my bros and their roomie. Poor guy had to sit alone cause he got tickets late but yo, even if you’re solo, this movie is a blast. We were fortunate enough to have our own 4 seats by ourselves so we could giggle and chit chat. I brought my vape pen and the smoke blended right in with the smoke fog machine going off in front of us. So perfect lmao.
The chair moved in sync with the action in the movie. Even when there was fire on the screen, IT SMELLED LIKE FIRE. There’s a button that says Water On or Water Off. I turned that shit off. I hate getting wet lmao. Advice though: bring a jacket. It gets chilly with the fog and especially when they were in a blizzard. Brrrrrr. You’re in the movie with them.
There was literally so many scenes that had such fucking great picture and graphics that alone is worthy of 90% ratings. This movie is 2 hours long but it doesn’t feel like it. We wanted it to keep going. But I guess we were also in 4D haha. Me and my bro been trying to hit this since it opened at Regal downtown. I just remembered they were playing Don’t Breathe. Holy fuck, I would die.
Overall it was a really fun experience. A great night out. I encourage everyone to try it at least once. It’s going to be pricey ($28), but keep in mind, it’s for the experience.
Oh, stay for the scene after the credits. It comes on fairly quick/
Thought about talking about my life but I’m over hearing myself. Goodbye.
TRACK OF THE DAY: That new new.
Wow I just spent a good 6 minutes trynta find a good pic of the movie but failed miserably. I think Google thinks it’s the old X-Men movies, or there’s just no pics of this one, which doesn’t make sense. Anyways, shoutout to this half Asian girl in the flick. She was evil but this pic reminded me I liked her haha.
X-Men: Apocalypse! Fucking gangster haha. It was seriously mad dope. I went with my bestie back home at 9:05pm at Oakridge in San Jose. Side note, movie etiquette in the bay compared to LA is mad different. No assigned seating means every person goes to the box office solo and gets their own ticket. Minor detail but in LA it’s a team effort lmao. Also, $12.50 here!! I have the Moviepass so it don’t matter but for the rest of the world, I feel like 3 bucks is a huge difference haha.
I asked what number X-Men this was and he said too many haha. I was informed this one is the prequel to the last one though. It was mad dope. The professor in the wheelchair is young af haha. Also Jennifer Lawrence is bae!!!! Seriously so fire haha especially as Mystique. It made me really want to have a superpower. Also reminded me of how much I used to want to be Sabrina The Teenage Witch lmao. Anyways.
We loved it. Marvel ftw. We were also lit. It was epic. So many scenes that left me in awe. It was great. Go see this shit. It didn’t feel long at all, even though it was 2 hours and 16 minutes. Wouldn’t wanna spend Sat night any other way.
So yes, I’m home. Hiding haha. Had to get out of LA for a sec and debrief. I missed the Dubs game per usual but shoutout to them for pulling through. I’m still convinced the NBA is rigged though haha straight up.
Ps, I hate taking my shoes off to go through security at the airport. It really just irks me.
TRACK OF THE DAY: Loving the cameos.
Wow. So bomb. Captain America: Civil War got like 99% and I might have to agree. It was pretty lit. Marvel ftw.
I wasn’t sure what this was, but the hype was real, and I had to see it haha. My hg texted me earlier this week and we locked in Thursday night. If y’ll have time this weekend, def go see it! We hit the 9:15pm showing at The Grove with my roomie. We were trolling how packed the theater was since it’s opening night. Convinced her to come halla. My bro bailed last minute bc he fucked up at work and had to fix it. Sad times. I got to use his Moviepass tho. Saved 15 bucks. Win haha.
We got there on time. It was packed, literally. The crowd was kinda rowdy haha. People were shouting random shit. At one point, someone shouted to stop Snapchat-ing. Ridic haha. The movie is 2.5 hours, but they did a good job of keeping you engaged the whole time. Like I legit felt like I was in the movie at some points ha. If you wanna be bougie, you can see it in 3D.
Side note, I’m listening to Views rn. I miss old Drake so bad. ALSO. I’m pissed cause Rihanna brought him out last night at the show. She jipped us Tuesday night-ers. Don’t they always say Weekend 1 Coachella is better than 2? Does that not apply? Lmao. Salty.
Okay back to the movie. I fucking love Ironman haha or I love Robert Downey Jr. He’s just so funny, all his subtle jokes, I die. Chris Evans plays the main role, Mr. Captain America. There was one scene where he flexes his one bicep and me and my hg were like, SWOON lmao. Spiderman was hilarious. No spoilers don’t worry.
Thanks to Wiki, this is the sequel to the Captain America in 2014 and 2011. This is also the 13th Marvel film. Cray. Omg wait why wasn’t Deadpool in this ish haha. Scarlett Johanssan tho. Fucking bae haha. The movie had both action and plot. I was sadly beat in the beginning and almost fell asleep haha but I snapped out of it. I needed water and one point and didn’t wanna leave cause I didn’t wanna miss anything. But I did.
The whole theater clapped at the end. I love when people clap lmao. Dunno why. All 3 of us really enjoyed it. My day was so fucking long haha. Worked, dentist apt, yoga. I lost my car in the parking lot and it made me so fucking anxious. Like how does that happen….
My homie actually got me this device to help me locate my car for Christmas. But, I got a new phone, and never dled the app. FAIL.
I fucking love Core Power Yoga. Long day tomorrow. Muahhhhs.
TRACK OF THE DAY: Summer vibes af.
Wow. Speechless. Deadpool was literally everything it was hyped up to be. Literally everybody was talking about this new Marvel movie opening this weekend. Of course, I’m gonna be basic and follow suit on this one haha. First of all, Ryan Reynolds is literally gorgeous haha. He’s so sexy and just perfect for this role. His jokes and sense of humor made the entire movie.
I must say, I didn’t know dipshit about this movie. I thought it was a Spiderman spoof lmao from all the advertisements. Wayyyy off. I heard this movie was 11 years in the making?? And thanks to my bro bro, it’s the most anticipated rated R movie haha. The crude humor totally worked tho. Legit the movie was a genius creation. It was hilarious. It was like… interactive? Ryan semi talks to us throughout the film.
I went with my broskee at AMC Tustin by Irvine. I spent the day there. Much needed. We hit the 7:15pm showing, which was def almost sold out. We sat in the second row. It’s so weird going to theaters without reserved seats now. So used to that LA life haha. I never appreciated it until now. My bro’s friends wanted to come but they were too late. If it was reserved thoooo.
The whole theater was lit. Everybody was on the same page, ready to laugh. TGIF fr. You could tell there were Marvel fans up in there. The film is only an hour 40 minutes. Which is totally a plus too. Overall this movie was a win. Pure entertainment. Def go see it.
I’m stressed. And my bro is my biggest support system.
TRACK OF THE DAY: I really wanna post Wolves by Ye but it ain’t on Youtube lmao. Here’s a track my friend posted. Feels.
