Hi wow. Long time since I’ve been on here. If you guys care at all, I’ve recently been posting on fomoblog.com. But I FINALLY fucking got to go to the movies tonight. So hi. Here I am. This is going to be short because I actually have to head out in a few (it’s fucking midnight).

Today is my brother’s birthday and he deserves everything he wants in life because he is fucking amazing. I literally would not be here if it wasn’t for him. Family is #1. We haven’t been to the movies in so long. Mostly because I’ve been running around like a chicken with its head cut off. But tonight, I had to hang out with him. I was definitely plan B, because all his friends weren’t available. But hey. I’ll take it lmao.

We hit up the 8:15pm showing of Dunkirk at Regal L.A. Live. Yo, there was no one in this bitch lmao. Cricket cricket. Made sense. A ticket cost $17. That’s honestly blasphemy. But anyways. We met his roomie who drove from OC. Loyal af. This film got like 98% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Plus I’ve only heard how phenomenal it was. So I was super d.

Dunkirk is directed and written by Christopher Nolan. Salute to him. IMDB plot: Allied soldiers from Belgium, the British Empire and France are surrounded by the German army and evacuated during a fierce battle in World War II.

We were a little late because my bro’s corn dog nuggets took a year and a half, but it was seriously intense throughout the whole movie. Right off the bat, there’s nothing but action. It’s definitely a trip down memory lane as if you were sitting in history class in high school. But it was shot so beautifully. Can’t get over how cinematic the film was.

I honestly can’t say I followed much the entire movie. I was super ADD but the fact that I liked it still says a lot. It was really good drama and great acting. It’s under 2 hours too. Basically, there’s no L’s in seeing this movie. So worth it. And makes you appreciate that there are no more huge wars in this day in age.

Life has me upside down rn. I’m going to take the weekend to do some major self-reflecting. People keep saying it’s retrograde. I’m like. What’s that lmao.

TRACK OF THE DAY: This song is in mad rotation. Didn’t even know there was a music video. Fire.
